car wont go into gear!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just finished swapping in a jdm b18c with hydro tranny into my 92 integra. motors starts right up everytime but when the motor is running i CANT get into ANY GEAR.

with the car shutoff i can shift thru evrey gear with no problem!

i tried putting it in gear while off and then starting it with the lever in gear already and it works…i can drive the car with no problem in that ONE GEAR…i cant shift at alll.

im using a innovative cable to hydro conversion kit…could this be the culprit??? any input would be greatly appreciated.

i forgot to mention…brand new exedy stage 1 kit and resurfaced flywheel.

I’m having the same problem with the same clutch.
I’ve read/heard a few people mentioning the pressure plate, but what are the chances that there is something wrong with a brand new one. Has anybody experienced this with an Exedy?

This happened to me many months ago. When running I couldn’t get into any gears; when stopped I could select a gear and drive in that one gear. I had a new OEM clutch in. This was the problem:
A spring from the disk popped out and got stuck in the pressure plate fingers.

Turns out it wasn’t the clutch or tranny. I got a new clutch cable and it works good now.
