Car won't start HELP!!!!!

My friend has a 90 LS with a B16a and his car will only start when it’s cold. Anybody have any ideas? My mechanic said it’s the Fuel Injector Resistor but I have never heard of that or of that ever going bad. It turns over fine it just won’t start up. I think it’s the ignitor in the distributer but I am not a mechanic. Need help asap!!!

check the distributor with a multimeter. but fist listen if ur getting fuel. maybe ur main fuel relay is going. do a search

when it gets really hot, the pgm-fi fuel relay on our cars go bad. . . they start up again when it cools down but is hard to start when they are hot… so search a lil for that part…
