Ok, so im driving home one day from work. Suddenly, my battery light comes on and feel a great loss of power in the engine. Then it just turns off. I ignored it, but then it does it again, and the light doesn’t turn off!!!
I get home, pop the hood, only to find that my battery exploded!! There is fluid sizzling out. The car still starts and runs even though the battery is blown up…
The next day, i’m driving to auto zone to get a new one because its still under warranty… I get to a stop light and the check engine light turns on, and the car shakes then shuts off!!! I push it into a parking lot and pop the hood. Everything looks fine except the battery. Everything works, lights, alarm, everything. I tried to start it, it will roll and all but it just won’t fire up. I pulled out one of the spark plugs and tried to start it. NO SPARK!!! So i checked the fuses by the engine bay and the ECU is out!!! I buy a new pack and pop them in but when I do, the just burn out!!! I don’t know what to Do!!! Any Ideas???
Well first of all, you must have huge fucking hairy brass balls… you shouldn’t even be driving to Autozone with an already exploded battery… shit, is that even possible? Good thing your car didn’t catch on fire on the way… you craaaaazy motherfucker! And second… due to the “exploded” battery, it probably fried your ECU. I suggest you have it towed to a shop or Autozone and have them test your electrical system to see if it’s fucked… see if you can borrow someone’s ECU for the test…
I’m curious to why your battery exploded… check all your connections going to the battery and also check if the battery is mounted properly in the engine bay as to not have the top touch the hood when closed…
Well since your ECU fuse keeps blowing it’s a very very good chance the ECU is bad. You can check the ignitor but if you ECU fuse blows this won’t make a difference cause the car won’t start with the fuse blown.
