battery is good alternator is good it wont start on my sisters bday 3 months ago july 4th didnt get new battery or alternator cuz i knew nothing wrong with them, fast foward to now starts fine RIGHT NOW with same battery and alternator it wont start sometime like yesterday morning

also i have a bogging problems in the rain issue too

thats what makes me think i have a bad connection or something touching metal keep it from starting theres naked wires laying everywhere lol

might grab the wiring harness from parts car and re-do my whole chassis & engine harness (might hide them while im at it) to clean up wires and make them look good im going to use parts car to mock up the harness before i swap it on my da

options ideas?

First off…wrap up the naked wires. That would be my first starting point if you have exposed wires everywhere…

It doesn’t start while cold? Will it crank when it’s not starting? Or do you turn the key and just hear a ::click:: sound.

What have you done that actually counts as some form of a tune up? ie…plugs, wires, cap, rotor, check your grounds?

maybe its main relay but i dont think so

in warm morning not to cold it would start, drive to a store or drop kids off at school it just wont start had to push start it no cranking it just act like battery is dead but battery is brand new and tested it with voltmeter still good plugs wires cap and rotor is good they arent any older than 2 yrs did a DIY grounding ALT, DISTRIBUTOR, IACV, INTAKE MANIFOLD TO FRAME thats what helped it from doing that so much its just still there annoying as fawk lol
cleaned out iacv fitv tb and intake manifold got a new injectors kit in it used a injector treatment in tank few days ago

friend of mine said my car sounds better every time he see me rollin lol another friend said it sounds tuned, motors running good just this slow cranking starting and sometime it wont want to crank 10 seconds later it starts fine

you can’t fix problems on top of problems. fix your wiring first. you shouldn’t be driving the car like that

yeah im getting my girlfriends car fixed so we can drive it while i got that issue fixed it wont crank for a bit then start it happened like 30 minutes after my last post
