ATTN BRACKET GROUP BUY PARTICIPANTS
I got a text from Carlos (wingbox) over the weekend and in his application the short set screws were all just barely long enough for his brackets. When I installed mine there were only 1 or 2 set screws which were a little short - this is why I included some longer screws with each kit. It does look like each car and each wing may be slightly different. So if anyone has any problems or if everyone is ending up with screws that are too short please let me know ASAP and I can order some longer ones for everyone.

Just let me know, if everyone has the problem then I will definitely order some new screws and mail them out. Seems Carlos’s fitment is a lot different from mine which is a surprise so I’m wondering if the base of his authentic Hiro is significantly thinner than the base of our JDP versions. If that’s the case then we all should be OK (except Carlos, lol).

Carlos, if it’s just you then it’d be better for me to just refund you a few dollars so you can get them locally. If it’s everyone then I’ll buy them in bulk again and ship them out. But if it’s just you it doesn’t make sense for me to buy in bulk which means I’d just be going to Ace hardware and shipping them to you.

I mounted the wing today and the screws were a bit short.
Did you try the short and long screws? Can you email me a pic? The goal is for them to be almost flush with the bracket.
Also make sure to use the gasket thing, it adds a layer of thickness to help with the brackets and screws.
too much to read, but is there a way to get one of these still?? i had a guy come to me 2 or 3 years ago with 10 of these wings to make the brackets for them and we did a great job, but my shop owner had passed away and now i don’t know who had them local to me. so looking for another one.
It was another limited run, so you can’t just buy them. Someone from the group buy did recently post his up for sale. Seems like a very fair price to me, especially since it comes with the brackets I had made for everyone.

nah no way would i pay $600 for one that looks spray painted with absolutely no way to mount it on the car either.
im guessing people do this all the time. as the guy who made this batch is the 3rd person i have seen do it. just have to pay for 10 of them up front and you are good to go

Sorry about that, I realized after I saw your post that this one isn’t the same one I was thinking of. Looks like the one that was CF and had my brackets has already sold 
I’m not sure what the story is on this one that looks painted. Maybe it’s a Pancake? Real Hiro’s seem to be priced around $2000, last Pancake I saw sell was around $500-600. And the JDP CF one that just sold I think was $600-700 with brackets.
i like how it says no chips but in the last picture theres a chunk of the wing missing
i’m sure with time i will find one, its not a top priority, but if i stumble across on reasonably priced ill get it. right now i am tearing down the car for the build process… so i got time lol
there is no chunk of the wing missing, i saw that wing in person and looked like an okay rep.
