Caster setting, GUYS WHO DRAG RACE WITH TRACTION BARS PLEASE HELP.

I recently completed an alignment on my car, all settings are good. The only problem is, I have my caster set to the middle of the factory spec and my wheels are pushed towards the rear of the wheel arch. The car drives fine. I drag race this car (on a track of course) and I am wondering if I should adjust my caster to the upper end of the factory spec. The whole point of traction bars is to cut down on wheel spin (duh) and I havent been able to make it to the track yet to see how i hook because I dont have tags on it. My question is should I leave my caster as is, or should I adjust towards the upper end of the factory specification to move my wheels more towards the center of the wheel arch?

Thank you in advance.

anybody?

I don’t know much about the caster settings. But i am wondering where you had your car aligned? I have yet to find a place that will align a lowered car

I did it at work. I normally wouldnt mess with the caster

if you’re using the older skunk2 camber arms originally designed for the EF chassis then that’s most likely the cause of the wheel sitting further back…
you could always pull the caster forward making it more positive with the traction bar, which would be ok on the drag strip, but you’d sacrifice a little turning radius

As far as I know, my upper control arms are the new redesigned ones. The balljoints aren`t entirely surrounded. I believe the older ones were completely surrounded
