^^^i say water pump not because it may be leaking, but because if the gear separated, it would overheat and possibly blow a tired hose. it would also make the noise he described.
ok.
we found the culprit. it was a coolant hose that was sealed with electrical tape that burst. no idea how it got like that but it did. and it was just spraying everywhere.
as for the noise for the gears. i found out if i accelerate slowly through the gears instead of normally then it doesnt make the sound. and the car isnt overheating at all anymore since the hose got fixed but im going to put a new thermostat anyway. i was reading around and people are saying to get one that opens at 180 i think it was. is that correct?
also, my battery just went completely dead. its not even 6 months old. i think it got shorted out from all the fluid or something. but lucky me, walmart replaced it for the low price of FREE 99 so im ok with that…
which btw to describe the sound its like this: when you throw a flash bomb in modern warfare 2 and everything is white and you hear that sound. thats what it sounds like.
“when you throw a flash bomb in modern warfare 2 and everything is white and you hear that sound. thats what it sounds like.”
lol awesome.
As for your battery, it still would’t hurt to have your charging system checked out at autozone (apparently its free). Batteries sometimes go out on their own but usually there is a cause and it’s easier to check it out now than have it leave you stranded again in 6 months cuz your alt wasnt working properly.

lol yea. i had no other way to describe it…
but yea ill go to autozone and check that out. thanks i had no idea about that…
all issues except for that sound are fixed…
still looking for help on that…
so why was the car not starting after the hose exploded…Just a dead battery?
yea. but im guessing the battery died because it mite of shorted out or something because of all the fluid on it…
it was less than a year old…
