CD5 Lip -> DA9

Hey everyone. I hit a chunk of ice on the freeway today and broke my lip. (had no choice - took it on the transmission side) I picked up a CD5 (Accord) lip and put it on. It fits rather badly, but I know that people use these lips on our cars and specifically the 92-93, which is what I have. Do I need a heat gun to reshape the corners? All I did was drill, bolt, zip-tie, and use a bit of force but like i said… Doesn’t look right.

Can anyone tell me what the process is to make this lip fit nicely? Thanks!

No idea why two of the pictures are upside down…

did you ever get your lip to fit right? im doing the same project was wondering how you did yours

I did! just a couple of days ago too…

I’m glad I still have my 2 g1 lips.

@XeiaieX how did you get the lip to fit? im trying this on my DA and the accord lip seems too long even if I heat gunned it. People said they cut pieces out and plastic welded but others say it fits just the way it is.
