cel after install of new headers

so like the title say after i install my greddy sus headers on to my b20 and take my car for a test run bam right off the bat i get my cel. I do have a exhaust leak from where the headers meet the down pipe due to the fact that my car came with only one of the bolts when there should be two of them. dont quote on this but " i dont think that a exhaust leak would cause me to have a cel" or am i wrong. oh yeah and i did pull my ecu fuse be for i took my car for the test drive.

and another wierd thing happend when i went to see what code it was nothing came up. so i took the car for another run down the block and what do you know i got a cel so i turned the car off right there and tryed to check it again anad nothing came up again.

so can anyone help me out.

Check that your O2 sensor is snug and the connector is securely attached.

you will get a cell for o2 with a exhaust leak. not enoguh flow going threw the pipe for the sensor to read correctly. fix ur leak first, clear codes, then go for a drive. if it comes back you need a new sensor.
