cf hood pins question

my cf hood that I ordered a little while ago will be here any day, and my question was, have any of you had trouble drilling the holes for the pins? I have a 30,000 rpm rotary tool, which I’m sure is fast enough (I know that you need HIGH rpm) but I wanted to know if you guys had any dos and don’ts. ( I assume that the holes next to the bump stop will work fine, since they’re equal distance and are just the right size for the pins.

i used a drill on mine… put tape over the spot u want the drill and drill throught the tape… oh start small… and graudually make the holes bigger, just be patient and u should be fine HTH

sounds good… so did you use the holes that are already part of the car?

I used a rotozip. make sure your bit is sharp!
