ok guys, I am the one making these visors, and I am a site sponsor again.
for ordering information look here

I will have mounted pictures of the production quality visor tomorrow

I also make roof caps for the DA 2 doors

you can read about them here
http://www.g2ic.com/forums/showthread.php?t=198828

Installed pics of the finished product on page 1.

Mounting brackets come with it along with all the bolts, washer ect…

I am going to use closed end allen screws, with finish washers, the ones like the password JDM ones.

I also use rubber washers to prevent damage to the carbon.

The brackets themselves will be made out of carbon fiber, and will be double sided taped to the glass.

the visor looks very nice but i dont like how the bolt an washer stick out like they do in the pic. I think if you could make it flush mount say like oem door visor it be perfect . Maybe put a flat piece of metal on the bottom of the carbon fiber were it mount to give it strength when there made to flush mount a small screw. just my .002 in it

^ I agree that does seem to stand out. I think if you could get black bolts and washers, it would look a lot better. Also, would this mounting hardware be compatible with the OEM Visor? And if so, how much would an extra set be?

Actually, he did mention about getting black bolts but I kinda talked him out of it for others who may want to paint it other colors. But it’s true black bolts and washers would make it look better. Also the bolts on the side were 1/2 inches too long and will come with shorter ones.

Another sidenote, I took the freeway going home and I double checked once I got home and the visor held nicely. No play or movement. Everthing was nice and thight.

And yes, the brackets will be compatible with the OEM visor.

ISport is a sponsor once again. These are now available. Thanks for the support.

Just for everyones info
I make them in any color kevlar as well

After 8 hours of curing at 120 Degrees F, the first kevlar piece has just come out of the mold

Please note: it has not been trimmed, and has not been clear coated.
I rolled the edges and am going to put the rubber around the edges (like OEM)

so enjoy the pictures

i really like them an the only thing holding me back from get one is the screws . They take away from the clean look. I think if you had a counter sunk screw in it say like oem door visor it flow way better an look way better my .002 an only thing holding me back

I think the price and quality are right on… I’m just going to have a really hard time deciding what color to get once I have the money saved up.

Looking good iSport:rockon:

that looks great be good to finaly get one

the visors look clean! and that roof cap is vicious!
