anyone else have a chain in the back seat bolted between the seat belt and buckle latch? or know what its for?

i got it that way 5 years ago. i thought maybe it was some thing that was to latch child seats down with since there was no latch on the back shelf

throw it away… only broke people try to use a chain to latch car seats down… but im not surprised, i found a wood block behind my quater panel on the inside…

my 4 door ls and my rs has 3 spots to latch a car seat to in the rear parcel tray.
no the tie downs for a child seat on on the inside of the back just above the spare tire compartment… look there, there are three plugs that you can remove and put in a special bolt you get from the dealer for the teather… look in the owners manual *if you still have one, it tells you all aobut that…
