Spalted maple. Wanted to trim the sides/back in walnut, but got impatient and just decided to stick with the single block for now. LOVE how spalted maple looks. DO NOT LOVE how much it costs :giggle:
Worth it though, that’s for sure. Love how the fungus leaves those sweet black streaks through the wood.
Now to make one out of something else, since I still have a shload of coins to put up…
Very nice!!! I was thinking of making some individual cases using wood as the base and some plexiglass as the sides and top. I got the idea from my old 1SG.
