Changeing car color

my car is red with violet pearl and im thinking of a change to maybe the rsx blue. so saying that im wondering what all needs to be painted that you can see when you look at car. so far i got
Engine bay
Door jams
Rad support
the rear support

what other spots need to be painted for a full color change so i wont see red when if i paint it blue:P

Go out to your car; open hood, doors, hatch, gas cap. What ever you see that is red, then you know what needs to be painted blue.

hmmm… strip everything out includeing interior, engine, engine shiet, windows, etc. and painted all blue so u won’t really see no more red…

just my two cents…

don’t forget the inside part of the door

you know, not the part you look at from the outside

just keep your car red…unless you like to work your ass off and strip everything off the car, including engine, door panels, carpets, headliner?? besides, i prefer red cars over blue…but hey, its your car do what you like.

My 94 GSR was green and I painted it fiji blue B529-P from the '05+ civics.

I removed, hood, doors, trunk, windows seals, door panels, door switches, door harnesses (that lead into car), bumpers, door handles, headlights, taillights, blinkers, washer nozzles, door brackets, fender liners, door latches on door and checkers on car, taped over VIN sticker, remove paint sticker, taped over hood stickers…etc. Its a pain in the butt, plus I sanded it all myself. The only stuff not painted blue is inside the gas door (my fault on that), and the engine bay (i didnt want to remove the engine)

i was thinking of painting my DA aztec green…but after thinking and looking at it i’m just going to keep it jasper green…plus i’m too lazy to take everything off to paint it all…but if you do want to cahnge the color completly paint everything…

Rule #1 - If it is red now, make it blue.

best thing would be to strip it down completly… glass, moulding, trim etc and then paint. IMO cheap repaints look like shit especially if you see all the tape lines and overspray on the rubbers.

Ouch your decribing mine thats not quite finished. How the hell do get the rubbers off with out removing the glass?
