Check Engine Light!

I was on the highway and was in 5th gear. I decided to blast it. When I was about to hit VTEC (I glanced down at my tach) and I saw that my check engine light came on. My oil pressure read normal and air/fuel ratio was normal. My engine sounded normal and no big smoke was coming out the end of my car either. It drove just fine. When I got back to my apartment, I turned the car off, waited for a little, then turned it back on and the engine light wasn’t on. I revved the engine up a little and still no light.

Anyone know what all this about? Any reason why it threw a light at me?

is your ecu snug tight ? I had that similar problem on my Ef-8. Make sure that your ecu is bolltef down and your harnesses are snapped in. You can reset the check engine light by disconnecting the battery terminal for about 2 minutes. Hope this help

How does a loose ECU throw a light?

UPDATE: Okay, I just tried to start my car and it starts but immediately drops down to about 100 rpm (almost dies) then it jumps back up to 1k, then repeats.

I reset the ECU and then it starts but then dies. I don’t get any codes. Anyone think what it could be?
