I bought a cherrybomb glass pack at my local pep boys for $16 today. I am very unsatisfied with the quality. The welds on the inlet and outlet are horrible and the inner core looks like donkey piss. I purchased the glasspack with a 2 1/2" in/out and was very surprised to see that the inner core was only 2" in diameter. The perforations on the inner core have been placed in with a half ass job and look to restrict a lot of flow. I am going to return this piece and get a Dynomax Thrush with a real 2 1/2" core and one piece housing!

But, I can tell you this from personaly experience, I had a cherry bomb with 2.25" piping and a N1 muffler and it sounded awesome. It had absolutely NO raspiness and was very deep and low. I highly recommend it. I also painted it black with High Temp Heat resistant paint and it looked nice.
