yeh the list u put up… 95% shudd be covered…my friend owns a shop and has a garage that can fully service my car at his house… i think the only thing i need to get is the oil pan gasket and head gasket which i have i just have to find… and as far as the lutch flywheel is concerned… i have an RPS pressure plate…ACT 6 puck sprung disk… ACT prolite flywheel… both bearing pilot and release… one thing that wudd be a good idea is a b16 tranny but definitely not needed…my hoses are fairly new i bought a mishimoto aluminum radiator about 3 months ago and a month later i replace the upper and lower rad hose
I personally feel the exact opposite, I would not even think of running a vtec engine w/o one of the shorter geared transmissions.
Your friend is getting you all of these parts? Are they OEM? OEM is pretty pricey and thats a lot to get for free from a buddy. I wouldn’t trust anything which isn’t OEM.
You still need a new upper radiator hose as the upper water neck is in a different location on the vtec and non-vtec engines. (if you had a vtec motor in the car previously then you can re-use the house you have)
no i understand about the vtec tranny being better but im just saying right now its not a must i can still drive the car with my ls tranny…
but yeh everything to get my ls/v running reliably
the block comes with a vtec oil pump waterpump and all timing belt i can pick up at autozone for cheap or even ebay
but yeh like i said 95% of the affirmentioned items are included in the price… but god looking out man
