I just bought an AN-R header and it’s ceramic coated. I’ve got some grease stains on it from handling it. What can i use to clean it off? I’ve never had a ceramic coated header before so i’m not sure what’s safe to use on it. I don’t want to damage the coating. Can i just use some brake cleaner and a rag, or is there something better?
I wouldn’t use break cleaner. What about simple green - or a basic engine degreaser.
I tried strait simple green and it came out better, but mines was pretty bad:(
oh well im gonna heat wrap it anyways:roll:
I used to just use rubbing alcohol.
Good suggestion E-DA9, i might have to try that. do you guys think a 0000 grit brillo pad would do any damage to it.
