Can some one tell me how to get the water out of my tail lights? I have replaced the gasket and I can’t tell if it is working properly, because there is always water in my tail light. If I can get the water out of there then I can see if the gasket worked.
ok… this is what you do… take off the clear tail lights… throw them away… and put the stock ones back on… problem solved
hehe, just kidding… i’m not a hater of aftermarket tail lights like many other people in here… do they have some kind of drain valve thingy… i know the bumper lights do…
you have to take them off, and get ALL the condensation out of them first. This may take a while… you can lay them down and gently heat the lenses w/ a hair dryer… and THEN reinstall them w/ new gaskets, and you should use clear silicone to put around the edges where the tails meet the bumper. problem should be solved.
and YES this problem happens w/ stock taillights too…
