Clearing out Air Conditioning Lines??? need help soon!

i need to dismantle the AC system on my parts car. But its still pressurized with the refrigerant or whatever it is thats in the lines. I don’t really want to pay someone to come remove it, and i’d rather not just bleed it out into the atmosphere. Any other options?

thanks guys

those are about your only 2 option’s

they don’t make a cheap kit at the autoparts store or anything? well, too bad for the environment, but unless i can do this VERY cheaply… i’m gonna have to hurt our poor O3 layer.:frowning:

unless your system’s been recharged within the last few yrs there probably isn’t gonna be all that much left in it anywayz so I wouldn’t worry about it too much.
they MIGHT make a kit you can buy…but as far as I knew it’s the kinda thing you need some sorta special licence and stuff for

theres still people who bleed it out in the ozone. u wont be the only one. the people who can do that is licensed refigerant or a/c people. they also need the machine that takes it out. so its a big shop that might have one. so u know thats gonna cost some.

well, i just bled it out. i didn’t want to if there was a cheap alternative… but alas.

thanks guys.
