hey anyone got any idea on how to remove the amber reflectiver inside the front bumper lens? cause it would b cheaper on removing the thing then goin out to buy a set. thanks
i used a pair of needle nose pliers/wire cutters/side cutters/ the crooked needle nose pliers and about 2 hours of patientance to get mine out.
some other people use heatguns I think.
like did u split the cover off or did u work from the inside out? like were do u start.
nope the 92-93 bumper lights dont come apart unless u break them. i worked from the light bulb hole on the backside and used the cutters to break the plastic apart.
if u do do it this way be very careful not to rub the sides of hole where the socket turns and locks in place because it is kinda soft plastic and will make the fittment of the blub socket not as tight
dont forget that this isnt just a forum. its on under teg tips for lighting
i did mine and for some reason they leaked so they were constantly condensated and looked terrible, i got some new clears on ebay and they look absolutely wonderful, cant wait for my new bulbs to come in, chrome over glow amber.wont look like shit
