I just replaced the bulbs behind my climate control stuff since they burned out. The problem is the old bulbs had that blue condom thing on them and I couldn’t get them off intact to put them on the new bulb. What can I use so my lights aren’t so bright and match with the others?
thanx

I had the same problem when I replaced my bulbs. The dealer has no replacements for it. I’m basicly stuck with the amber lights in the climate control pod or I can try painting the bulbs with blue translucent paint.
It wasn’t all too hard, just very tedious. I’ve taken my stereo out so many times i could do it in my sleep. The hardest part was getting the climate control things out of the dash, lots of manuvering. Look in teg tips, it was a huge help.
All I need now are those damn bulb covers.
I just threw away some of those blue bulb covers since I change the int. lights to amber. I have some extras if you want it.
Are the covers still in good shape? I tried to take mine off but just ended up ripping them all up. Let me know.

I dont know I have to check. I have a couple extra climate control units I grabbed from the junkyard so I have to open them and see.
