Climate Control Buttons

I did search and checked with my manual but it’s been a long day and I’m not too sure if I am even using the correct word combinations or not.

I am trying to find out if there is a way to tighten the climate control buttons or not. These are the buttons you can select to have air blow on your feet, top, etc. Mine work in the sense that when I press the button it actually does what it is supposed to do. However, they only stay about 90% depressed so the indicator light doesn’t stay on.

Can I tighten them somehow? Not a huge deal, but I thought I’d check before getting the dash all back together again.

I re soldered the switches on mine. It works much better now, but i should have changed the lights while I had it apart.

So it absolutely requires soldering then? It’s something I can live with, as I have for 5 years now, but I thought it was a loose screw or something.

I did replace the lights though.

It only took me a couple minutes to solder the contact points? They become broken from age and from movement when pressing on the switches. I had a harder time getting the thing back in then I did soldering it. Now it works like it should, but the lights need to be replaced still.
