So im drivin an all of a sudden the back light that lights up the cluster shuts off everything still works and all other lights still work… Turn signl…brake…etc
Any idea? Just a bulb?
Sounds like “Dimming Circuit” in cluster is N/G, you will need to pull the cluster, unplug it, find the red/black lead(s) in the cluster plug(s) and test it/them for power, [12V+] when park/head lights are on, if good, find red lead(s) in cluster plug(s) and test for ground, [veritable as you turn the “Dash Lights Brightness Controller” up and down], if both are good, [12V+ on red/black with lights on and ground on red anytime] the “Dimming Circuit” in cluster is N/G, or possibly a burnt trace on cluster circuit “board”. 94
