so i changed the bulbs in my cluster to amber. as you know the stock needles are white and dont illuminate. is there a conversion where i can change the needles to light up? maybe from a DC cluster?? or any other ideas on how to make the needles go with the amber; im not really lookin to paint them =X

there is a kit that uses fiber optic strands to make your needles illuminate…haven’t really looked into it for like 7years now
Yeah I remember looking at it a couple of years ago but can’t seem to find it for you. I tried all kinds of search combos but mainly got stuff for bikes.
If you google “glow gauge needles” there are a few sites selling the needles that illuminate. I’m not sure how reputable these sites are, intelliglow seems to be the most popular company doing this. However there is one problem; you need lexan needles in order to have the light shine through, our needles will not illuminate since they’re non transparent. The needles from a DC will not work, the pin hole on the back is larger than that of the DA. So you have the option of swapping an entire DC cluster, or making the DC needles work with the DA cluster some how.
