can anyone tell me how to remove the clutch cable from the bracket for rerouting? i’ve been searching and havent found a write-up or a how to. i figured it was cut and dry as screwing the knob back pulling it up and out and putting it below the IM and just doing that. i screwed the knob back couldnt even get it out of the bracket…can anyone help please?
Turn the nut and loosen it as much as possible… use one hand to pull up on the clutch-fork (difficult) and that will give you enough slack to manuver the cable out.
what about the cable attached to the fork itself
Once its removed from the bracket the cable slides through the gap on the shift fork.
