Yo,
I use my car mainly on the street - kinda drive her hard. What’s the best clutch to use in our cars from clutch masters? Stage 1 or 2 or 3 or 4? Do they feel different? What’s a good trade off?
Yo, thanks!

Umm, after doing some research online, I noticed that people have problems with these clutches. Ummm I guess it comes down to who installs it
hmm i would think stage 3 is good. i did some research on it and thats what i want too when i get the money. stage 4 is like for track, it engages instantly. so anything under 3 is alright for street.
My opinion…
Stage 1 for bolt-ons only.
Stage 3 for turbo/supercharge/NOS
I have the Stage 1 and it engages hard. Anything more is overkill, IMHO. I just have i/h/e/cams, so I’m all motor.

there are a handful of guys here running the stage 3 will very modest setups (i/h/e, cams) and they love the clutch. I have a feeling that the stage 3 really isn’t that hardcore of a clutch. I mean how hardcore than it get? its organic i think, not a puck style clutch, and has a sprung hub.
for awhile i was going to get the CM III, but i just couldn’t afford it. So instead i picked up an exedy organic clutch for $269.95 shipped (got a free t-shirt too, lol). I’ve yet to install it though, but i know it’ll be good–afterall its exactly the same as the toda clutch (just not balanced specifically for the toda(exedy) flywheel).
