well i turned on to my side road, and some chick in a big ford was talkin to a kid on a bike so i was about to go around, then she slams on her gas to cut me off. Then prodceeds to keep tryin to block me, so i throw it in 2nd and spin down side road right into a curb and some grass(not the block kinda curbs just the U shaped ones.
Well anyway i got home, then went back out and now when i shift it sounds like im riding the clutch, ive tried adjustin the clutch cable but it dont seem like its doing ****, so now i have a clutch problem cause some stupid blonde wanted to impress her friends
Does it go into gear smoothly? Can you describe the sound a little more? Depending on how old your clutch disk is, I would guess that one of the vibration springs popped out and it’s being bounced against the flywheel or the press. plate depending on what side it exited. The same thing happened to my old one when I downshifted into 3rd around 60MPH. Try to give us some more info and maybe we can narrow it down for ya.
the best u can hear it is in the 2nd pull of the 1st clip, it recorded ok on my tape, but crappy on the computer eh sorry but you get the picture, and yes i know how to drive i like to think and this just now started happening

There’s a little bit of static in the recordings, but is it that “clacking” sound that’s coming from the trans. or is it the tape? It could also be the release bearing not fully releasing, but it’s hard to say. My only suggestion would be to drop the trans. and look for anything obvious with the clutch ass’y. I’m not guessing it’s anything major since you were only going 10MPH. How many miles on the clutch/car?

everyone ive talked to so far just thinks its my clutch on its last leg
i dont know enough about trans to drop mine and look, lol i dont have access to a lift or anything [/B]
Pulling a trans. really isn’t too difficult if you actually want to learn and have the time/tools to do so. If you have a Helm’s manual you have all the directions right there - best $50 ever spent. The only real problem is getting the axle nuts off, but you can have a shop loosen them enough for you to get home for maybe $10. It’d be a great learning experience!
