clutch squeaks when bringing it out

old clutch?

I have the same problem…Nobody seems to know the answer to this…Mine squeaks after about 10 mins of driving, when everything’s warmed up. But it squeaks when pressing and when the pedal is coming back. My clutch is still the stock one, but it still grabs pretty well. I’ve siliconed and greased all the joints and springs by the pedal, but nothing seems to work. I’m beginning to think it’s the release bearing, but can’t be sure…it’s really annoying me too.

I noticed when i pop the hood and look to the left of the engine and someone is inside pushing the clutch in and out i can see a wire that runs up into a hose. Maybe something in there is squeaking?

That’s the clutch cable. It should be covered and I think it’s greased. So if it’s exposed, it may just be the clutch cable squeaking. My guess would be the throwout bearing is making the noise. I’m curious about this too, anyone with more experience wanna chip in here?
