Just curious if i bought a clutch for my 90 integra like a clutchmaster, could i use that for a s1, ys1, j1 cable tranny’s also? I might swap tranny’s later but cant find one now, and need a clutch but would the clutch work? thanks
The clutch for the 90-91 tegs will work on the y1, s1 and j1 trannies. They will not work on the ys1 tranny though.
The clutch changed in 1992, and the ys1 is a 92-93 tranny.

There is a different amount of splines on the input shafts.
If I remember correctly, the 90-91 shafts have 25 splines and the 92+ shafts have 26 splines.
