My other thread was closed but for good reason, sorry spikeymike. OK I have done the research and didn’t come up with the anser I am looking for. I have a 91 teg, manual, and I am throwing a code 12 which is EGR Control system. From what I already knew and researched is that the EGR valve only came on autos. So I am asking myself why in the hell am I getting this code?? The only thing I came up with is that the ecu is for an auto but then again I thought you had to have a manual ecu for an manual transmission car. Can some one please help me with this b/c I am lost.
Ok sorry every one found that yes technically you can run a auto ecu but it wont run a 100% right. So now my question is by looking at the ecu how can I tell if it is for a auto or manual?
Thanks man, I guess I’m not using key words on my searches…lol
For those wondering:
