i have a obd0 91 integra with jdm high comp b20b, b20b intake manifold im using ls ecu and distributor im sure the injectors are from ls too after i did the b20 swap it threw code 43 got 02 sensor in and it fixed the problem
had bogging issue so i fixed it by putting another injectors with new kit on them and bought a fuel system treatment that says its safe for 02 sensor but couldnt remember the name of it now its throwing code 43 must be something i knocked loose while i was doing led in the cluster by disconnecting speedo cable few times the fuel and temp gauge isnt working anymore it just stay hot and empty all the time when ignition power is on
i ve replaced 02 sensor as mention up above, pcv cap rotors and wires fuel filter im not sure the condition of fuel pump it seem to pump strong enough though cleaned the intake manifold tb fitv and iacv with new tb and im gaskets
I would start out by checking your whole fuel system for any sort of leak and replacing your fuel cap. Mine threw a code 43 and so i replaced fuel cap then blew out an o ring and it fixed it all! hope this helps
no. the gauge comes straight from the tank. ecm never sees it.
likely the o2 sensor didn’t fix the problem to begin with. you probably reset it and now it’s back.
here’s what i think; you’re running lean. a lot of people running the stock pr4 ecm on a 2.0 experiance this. usually they just install an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and ramp it to 50psi.
but before doing this, ensure the integrity of your fuel system.
if you’ll be installing the reg, you’ll need a gauge to adjust. so, with the gauge installed, but before you install the adjustable reg, vehicle running, take note of the original fuel pressure. should be roughly 35-40psi. vehicle still running, pinch off the vac line to the reg. pressure should increase by 10psi. if not, reg or vac line are bad. now, proceeding, snap the throttle 3 times. pressure should drop no more than 2psi. if it does, there is a flow problem. either the pump or ilter or other restriction.
so try that before replacing the reg with an adjustable unit
with car running disconnect fuel reg vaccum line without gauge? how could i tell if its 10 psi increase? sorry im a idiot lol
to make sure i understand whats going on with my motor its because b20 have a higher compression ratio than ls does that cause more air than ecu is suppose to give fuel to balance it out with air?
the gauge must be installed to view pressure. install the gauge (since you’ll need it on there anyways to adjust pressure once you get the adjustable unit on there), and follow those instructions.
not because of compression. because of displacement. you’re physically able to fit more air into the cylinder because of the difference in bore size. it needs more fuel. tbh, i’m not sure if it works or not. but from what i’ve read, many b20 swapped integras run the adjustable reg for fuelling issues. however, one would think that the o2 sensor would read the lean condition and the ecm would open the injectors longer to compensate. however, however, maybe the increased duty cyle is just not enough. maybe it needs that extra 10 psi. i dunno. i had a very intermittent bogging issue with my old b20swapped da so i looked into it before. never got a chance to install the reg though. it won’t hurt to raise the pressure 10psi. other than a slight decrease in mileage maybe.
ok so i tracked them down wires appears doing nothing them wires just sitting on my trunk floor so i pulled the plug out with 6 wires blue white yellow red and 2 black i have no idea what they were for, atenna motor was loose so i tightened them back up damn i need to clean my trunk and fix the rust and leak in them
