So just get a car cover whenever it rains… Thats not practical.
Welp… Since my last “gasket” job I’ve been having a lot of water in my trunk still. So I went to a hobby shop and got a sheet of foam. And tried to reuse an old gasket from one of the tail lights I have here as a spare.
mmm condensation. On the forum I’ve seen people dump bleach into the housings and bleach them white for a cleaner look. I tried it but it didn’t work. Guess I shouldn’t have cheaped out on the bleach.
My wicked gasket making skills.
My friend and I took some pics of my car though I haven’t received any from him with his camera yet. So here’s a few quick snaps with my cell.
Update! Managed to get some used Tokico HP (Blues) with some kind of TEIN lowering springs for cheap. Threw those on.
Time to get to work.
Heres how the car sat before. (I put the fronts on so far)
How it sat after.
Time to rip out the rears.
MAN I love this jack. It was a recent gift.
Looks like I scrapped a few places… Yikes.
Took out this bolt like it was nothing. The previous owner really did this car a service by putting anti seize and grease everywhere.
I had a 2000 Civic hatch, you had to take out the panels in the rear to get at the strut bolts. Very annoying. Thanks Honda for making the struts easy to access.
Oh…Oh no…
The bushings looked like this on both control arms. All of the other bushings were new though. Sigh Looks like the car will be on jack stands for the night until I can get a new set pressed in.
Man just look at how greasy it is! This is a good thing though! Greasy means no rust and I’m happy with that!
Everything is out and the car sits on jack stands for the night as I said.
My friends boosted DA Integra pushing at least 260hp to the wheels. And the car hasn’t even been dialed in yet.
He doesn’t mess around.
The previous owner left me with a full Energy Suspension bushing kit. Thank god.
Pressing that shiz in.
How it now sits.
When you have an extra $23.50 you need to order this http://www.ebay.com/itm/JDM-License-Plate-Relocator-Acura-Integra-90-93-DA-Black-/381029273760?hash=item58b71d50a0&vxp=mtr
That tiewrapped license plate really takes away from the look of the car.

Hm. I’ll invest in that eventually. First I need to spend $25 on tail light gaskets.
new bushings will make a big difference. i’ve rode in my boy hatch with all new bushings and handled pretty well as opposed to my DA and the old bushings. Im waiting till next month then i should have all my new bushings installed :manual:
Front struts are on their way out… They’ve certainly taken a beating for being basically OEM struts with 2" lowering springs.
Car is bogging bad at times, and the driver side fog light has condensation… Yeah time to replace some stuff, distributor cap and fog light assembly.
That didn’t fix the bogging problem, will get it checked out later.
Friend took some shots for me.
Also my brake fluid keeps getting low… Agh… Wonder where its going? Will find out later this week hopefully.
Engine is ticking loudly, hopefully it just needs a valve adjustment. So I’m getting my friend to do that as well as a compression test. Losing coolant but nothing leaking on the ground.
