Cold air intake.

Doesn’t anyone notice when you fill up your tank max, it tends to last longer or the needle doesnt really move until like when u driven say around 75miles + I always get that but i know i’ve already driven like 2 gallons + if it hasnt gone down.

If anyone shifts into fifth gear before 45-50mph chances you may save gas and you dont have guilt of always wanting to drive hard or fast.

Notice everytime you drive in gear as you shift the rpm drops lower in the 2k rpm - 2.8k rpm close to 3k. Well when you are driving in 4th gear and rpm is in 3k rpm and up before shifting to 5th isnt going to help. I drive in 5th gear in town where signs say 35-45mph just dont mash on gas just step on it a lil as it slowly climb. Rpm stays lower and that should help on gas too.

Understand on the hwy going 70-75mph your rpm is sitting around 3k-3.4k rpm so going like 60mph on cruise is what like 2900 rpm - 3k rpm and notice how u get better gas well same thing rpm stay low u get better. Thats just me but hey good luck and drive hard LoL…

Umm ok. If you are below 2000k rpm generally the engine will have to labor to accelerate, and don’t tell me laboring won’t use more gas. I always keep it between 2 and 3k, I know how to drive too.

Everything serves its purpose for the consumers.

I didn’t say that much lower in the 1500-1900k rpm.
Most time i believe like me I normally shift from first (2800-3000 rpm) then for 2-5th gears I would just shift every 10 mph. Just dont over do it. you may be laboring it if its too low in gear which of course isnt good duh. But you do notice the car slowly goes up in rpm and speed if you just drive kinda sorta like grandma.

Add performances from stock just makes engine louder which yield in power and better gas most time like I/H/E breathes better for example but not always.

Everyone is different with their walking style right? Well I take it like that is how we are different when it comes ti the pedal… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

…so how bout them cold air intakes?

:wrong:

Enough about mpg. Topic is about COLD AIR INTAKES. If you want to talk mpg, start a new thread.
