competition clutch + flywheel

i know what you’re saying haha

well better get it back on topic so this dont get deleted hahaha
still open to any and all reviews

I’ve actually worked on that engine bay after you take of that huge engine cover there is more room to work on than a DA. When I worked on the bay i helped my best friend install his first competition clutch it went bad very soon after then competition clutch sent him a new “Upgraded” version of the same clutch. Guess what, one month later the new throw out bearing they sent with the kit is bad. He called competition clutch their reply was “We’ll refund you what ever an OEM Toyota bearings cost”. So now him and I have to drop that transaxel one more time just for a throw out bearing.

Ive had my stage 2 in my car for about a month and a half now…and im very pleased with it.

ordered today…be here friday cant wait

thanks for all the opinions i think ill be very satisfied

Wish you the best of luck, one peice of advise that I can give you is to use an OEM throw out bearing. I have to help my friend with the TC drop his trany for a 3rd time since competition clutch gave him a shity bearing.

thanks for the tip ill see how it goes. worse case scenerio in a few months im rebuilding the motor so itll have to come out again anyways. so if i have problems with it i just replace it then. id wait and take care of it all at once but the trans is the problem now and just need the car running

quick question. can a b16 tranny use a stock LS flywheel? i have a stage 5 competition and i will be using a my stock LS flywheel.

to the best of my knowledge the flywheels are the same

The flywheels are interchangeable. But don’t forget to get your LS flywheel resurfaced
