Complete Electrical Shutdown.. HELP!!!

okay so i own a 1991 acura integra sedan with a b16 swap. with the battery located in the trunk.

so here’s the problem… i usually start my car up once in a while in the winter because i have my integra just stored inside a garage. okay, a few days ago i put the battery in, and went to start up the car. dash lights came on and all. then i started it up. it cranked about 3-4 times, and all of a sudden. the car cuts out. i check the battery and everythings hooked up. soo yeea i check the lights, nothing come on! no light, dash lights don’t come on. like the whole electrical system in my shutdown.

anyone can help i’m soo stuck?! please and thanks!!

If you aren’t getting power to anything, then its either a battery ground, or pos-cable issue. Possibly the hot fuse in your system? Id check the ground for the battery and all of the fuses.

If the car isn’t getting power, its an issue with the wiring or the battery.

Agreed. I had a similar issue with my Civic Wagon, got a bunch of work done went to start it and nothing no lights or anything. Turned out the battery ground to the chassis was frayed and corroded. Replaced the cable, sanded the contact down a little, and have not had any problems for 2 years now.

hot fuse?

The Battery fuse under the hood…

Replace your Heater/Motor fuse. It’s a 40A fuse located in the fuse box under the steering column. Hope that works.
