oooh, which BFG tire did you get?
I had the G-Force Sport on last summer, not one thread left after 20,000km on the front tires. They do grip well though, and I loved it stiff sidewall.

Jon/davidhtam: yup they are BFG G-Force Sports (225/50/15), looking to sell and go a bit narrower/lower profile here to fit the wheels better.
Party_kid: search Hybrid_Nate for more info, but I’m pretty sure it’s a one-off bumper, also don’t think he owns the car anymore (could be wrong though!)
Ominous G2: Thanks bro, and the manual rack is from an 89 Civic Si. It’s installed, I just need to deal with a clearance issue where the shaft comes up through the firewall, shouldn’t be a big deal.
Today’s progress:
Fuel tank came back from the radiator shop (hot-tanking):
Cleaned up and painted the GSR manifold pieces:
Cleaned up, sanded, primered the valve cover:
Stuck for ideas on what to do with the valve cover, hrmm.
Next up, valve springs/retainers install (next weekend), claying for clearances before final engine assembly.:hi5:

If you get any pics of that rack, I would be interested in those. Trying to get all the info on the rack swap that I can.
Looks like I’ll finally have some time to go pick up my parts tomorrow, eff work!

Ive! Good to see you around mang! I think the only OEM stuff I need now are the two intake manifold gaskets for the secondary throttle plate though. Where are you ordering your stuff from? How far along are you? I’ll be getting ready to put the motor in early next month, definitely give you and the guys a call! Ditto for you too eh?

AAAAAAAAAND that’s where I had to stop, dammit! I was all stoked to clay and get the motor together, but those muthafawkin valve springs are toight! So I’ll have to get me a compressor tool and do those on the weeken
