hey ive heard of people removing there computer from there car to prevent theft. once you take the kick panel off how easy would it be to remove the computer each time i leave my car somewhere, and what are the cons do doing this. also, how do people go about doing this that actually do it, how do you unmount the computer eachtime.
i figure although not impossible, alarm, with clutchlock, and no computer should deter most thieves and prevent my car from being stolen as easily
Not a good idea, the ECU/ECM was not meant to be unplugged and plugged in constantly, too much chance of pin damage, a well placed kill switch is just as effective, more so if crock has his own ECU/ECM.:think:94
