Hi,everyone…
I just bought a external water temperature gauge(AutoGauge)and install it…
Picture below is sender connection,
White wire direct to gauge,
Black wire direct to battery(-)…
When everything done,
I just start my ENGINE n try to read it…
The reading make me confuse…
See picture below;
Normal temperature
I din believe the temperature will so high(fan working and just IDLE only)…
Then,
I off the engine and just turn key switch to ON position,
The reading different again…
It’s the SENDER problem or GAUGE problem???
PS:When i drive to above 100KM/h,the gauge temperature will drop to around 80C…HAIZ…
the stock coolant temperature gauge will always show the needle below halfway mark for 85° C - 100° C
so what you’re showing on the autometer gauge is about right
Thanks for reply…
Waoooooo…
100° C still is normal???
may i ask,
How many ° C is start to un-normal???
Those gauge is made in Taiwan…
Cheapers gauge also…
The design is copy from Defi(Japan)…
autometer is usa all the way. I bet there are lots of angry nascar and muscle car fans with you saying theyre made in Taiwan. i would never pay 300.00 bucks for a defi gauge. Then again i never see the need for gauges in a street car.
Please don’t mad…
I try to explain everything to you…
1st,
I stay in Malaysia,
At here,
Not a safety country…
Anywhere also have stolen,
If install a nicely expensive gauge,
You will lose your window and all your nicely accessory…
2nd,
Auto gauge is a cheapers brand in Malaysia,
Can get it anywhere…
Not so much high value than other US or JP brand…
This is the reason i choose Auto Gauge(safety)…
I like Defi,
Just the price stop me forwarding the product…
