Hey guys,
I have the RS, which we all know came with nothing fancy lol. My manual lever climate control is broken and you can NEVER find them around here. There is a good condition PUSH BUTTON controller at the junkyard right now. Is there a way I can convert to the push button? There’s a buttload of wiring coming off it. I assume there’s a electric motor to move the diverters. Is there a bunch of stuff needed? It’s not gonna be worth it to spend a ton of money on it as I don’t even have AC lol.

Well by looking at the Helms manual (don’t have one? Buy mine in my FS thread) you would need, Mode control motor, recirculation control motor, heater control panel, and all the wiring necessary and screws to convert.
It may just be easer to; buy the whole heater unit, blower fan, and control panel and all wires, relays, and screws necessary to convert. But that = $$$ from the junkyard.
Last option is buy a cable control unit from someone on here with all necessary parts.
Seems like a lot of trouble to me but if you’re up for it I suggest you buy a service manual to help you out 
Haha yeah miones currently in the mail heading my way. I looked at the yard and I had a good idea it was way to much work to get half the funtions of the unit.
I guess for now I’ll put my dash back together till I find another rs. Thanks for the quick reply! I won’t be going that route haha.
