Turned the car on yesterday and went to work. Before I got 15 minutes down the road the only gauge that was working properly was the mph. My clock no longer appears, and when I got in the car to go home the driver side seat belt didn’t move. The fuse for the clock looked fine. I could not find the location of the other gauge fuses. If anyone has any advice it would be helpful, thank you.
well u have an electrical issue. most likely something is loose like a ground or one is dirty. check ur seat belt module thing (in passenger kick panel). check the connections, and clean them if dirty. next, regarding ur cluster, it might be going bad or the connections are going to crap as well. most likely just the cluster is going bad. when u put the key to the “on” position u should get most of the lights to flash on to show that they are working. if they do flash, then u just have smaller individual issues. if not… then ur cluster is gone.
regarding ur clock… does ur radio work? cig lighter? if the radio and cig lighter works… then its just ur clock. u might have a ground issue that is kinda centralized with everything. i’d check the manual (repair manual like helms) and see where the main grounds are in the cabin. i believe there is one or some near the fuse box. you’ll have to remove the plastic knee panel. to remove it remove the screws and remove the trunk release lever. pull that off and inspect all the wiring as best as u can. get a flashlight when u do it too.
next i’d inspect around ur ecu area. i think there is a ground around there, maybe. not so sure on that but its worth a try.
