Is the coolant flush kit a good idea for my 91 LS?
I have seen the kits which you splice/clamp a connection to your upper radiator hose and can flush your coolant. I would hate for it top fair and ruin my block if they are prone to such things.
Anybody use these?
just take off your upper and lower hoses at the radiator. stick a hose in the upper hose and flush it that way. then refill and go.

set the temp knob in the cabin on hottest. take out the thermostat and put the housing back on first. otherwise it won’t work. i just did it myself. make sure to drain the block and radiator when done. then i just refilled with premix, assuming there was negligible residual water after draining the block and radiator.
