coolant leaking from under underdrive pulley!!!Help!

Can someone tell me where it’s comming from . I’m thinking the waterpump cause i cant find a leak anywhere else . Is this a hard thing too fix .

I did a search but theres 800000000 threads on water leaks so can someone help??

Water Pump if it’s coming from the crank pulley area.

The seal on the shaft of the water pump has failed. When the seal goes it lets coolant leak out of the motor through the shaft and it comes out a small on the water pump called the “weep” hole. That is where your coolant is leaking from. The weep hole is on the water pump housing and is just below the alternator on the block. You need to replace the water pump. While you are at it you should also replace the timing belt and timing belt tensioner. Yes, it is a big job if you don’t have the proper tools.

Thanks … What do you think it will cost for a shop to fix it ?

ya if you can get down there, with a little mirror even, you can see if theres water coming out of the weep hole (you have a manual dont you?)

labor should be like 120, pump around 40, should do the timing belt while youre back there, additional 50, so 200-220max.
