searched, found a few topics that had the same problem as me but none of them seemed to help. neither fans are working, pulled plugs and wired each straight to power, a/c fan comes on, cooling fan does not. ive put in a new thermostat, tried jumping the sensor still didnt come on. im not sure whats going on here, why does the a/c fan come on when wired straight to power and the cooling fan doesnt? car gets close to overheating but not all the way. the temp gauge does move to H but not all the time. can someone shed some light on this for me…thx…
o, forgot to add. all fuses are good, checked those.
i have the same problem, somebody help us out.
worked on it for a bit yesterday. put power right to the rad. fan, didnt come on at all. the relay was good, tested the one right behind the pass headlight. also tested the lead going to the fan, its not getting power at all so im not sure whats going on here… im guessing the next thing to try is the fan module…

If you take power directly to the radiator fan and it doesn’t come on, then you need a new fan. This is the same test you use to test any fan. You can temporarily wire your A/C fan to the radiator fan wiring, but your A/C won’t be as cold unless you are on the hwy.
Oh, and so there is no confusion, the fan on the driver’s side is the A/C fan, and the fan on the pass side is the cooling/radiator fan. You can buy aftermarket fans from a vendor here or on HondaTech for around $50. They are much lighter than the OEM fans and thinner for more room. I have been using one for over a year now, works fine.
thanks Sam92Teg…that does help out alot. but my question is, how come if the motor went out on the a/c fan but not the rad. fan, how come the rad fan still wont come on? im not 100% sure that the a/c fan motor isnt working, i couldnt get a good connection on the plug b/c the car was hot. but, i am going to try it again with the car not being hot.
i did think about getting both new aftermarket fans but i want to make sure that mine now arent working b/c of the motors and not b/c a relay is bad or something.
