i made a thread a while ago on my HG DA from how she looked around the time when i got her. Its been a little while now and I got it to where im pretty happy with how she came out so far. Heres a couple pics through some stages she went through.
sorry for the crap cell phone pictures(which they all are FTL)
I wish that bike was mine…
And this is my plan for winter wheels, what do you think?
thanks man, i wish i had a better camera cause my POS blackberry camera isnt doin my car any good.
i have koni yellows all around with ground controls in the front and skunk2s in the rear. i actually JUST got the setup which is around the last 2 pictures.
aha yeah, as soon as i found out it would be able to fit, i picked one up.
it isnt exactly painted lol those wheels have no tire tread left so its just sitting in my garage, i stripped the paint off one wheel as i was painting my sunflowers then one day decided to spray that wheel yellow to see how it looked so its not staying like that. just pure boredom lol
I just painted my 93, its the grey used on the mini cooper. I made a mistake though, and the side mouldings painted the same. I think looking at your picts, much better orig black. I wonder if I can have mine reshot, or should I simply buy some others?
its only missing one thing though, your DA next to mine ! aha

What was the mistake? With my shade of gray, I think if my moldings were the same it’ll look good but I like the original black trim so I’m not even gonna bother but yours, definitely paint them. It’ll look alot more original with that shade of gray. Painted trims only look good on certain colors and how well you play it off. But otherwise its looking good, what is getting dropped into her?

Friends have mentioned they think adding a bit of contrast makes the car look better. Some cars, especially white, maybe look better, or at least different when all one color. Seeing your car with black mouldings on grey makes me appreciate that my friends might have been correct!
I also like your black rims. I have the acura wheels - Im thinking of the Enkei RZ-5 for my car. 16’s I think.

whoops i been off this thread for a while but yeah man, black moldings or colored, all depends on the color of the car and how you play it so maybe with some different wheels it’ll look good ! hows the progress on the car? and DAs definitely look good with 16s, i wanna pick some up to throw on for after the winter.
Put her to stock for the winter. i love her even more
i used regular black plastic paint on the moldings thinking it’ll look good but came out shitty cause i rushed it -.- gonna repaint them using the trim paint.
i love how acura didnt make it so we can fold out windshield wipers up, owell problem solved
always nice to have company lol …
throw back to when i first got her last year 2010 in march.
does this look horizon gray to you and could you believe it was the same color?
and lookie what i finally pieced together for 170 bucks
