Couple questions about chipped ecu

Basically I was thinking about chipping my ecu, my questions are is this a good idea right now and where should i look for a good chip. I have a 92 RS B18A1 5-speed mods are i/h/e, underdrive pulleys, grounding wire kit, msd modified dis. cap for external coil (blaster ss coil). Would it be an ideal thing to get the chip now or will it even do me any good w/ these mods. I am pretty sure I have the p74 ecu. Is this correct? I’m not big on computer knowledge. I know I will probably get flamed and told to search but I have and haven’t really come up with any specific answers. So any help you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated. Also are the ebay chips any good?

Any help please?

geez…have some patience. it’s only been a couple hours since you posted.

it takes time for people to answer who know the answer.
give it some time.

if you don’t feel like waiting, search.

Sorry im sitting at work very very bored

bored = time to search

No offense but i have been searching for the last couple of days, that is why I finally asked you guys I haven’t come up with any useful info.

btw you are supposed to have the pr4 ecu, if you have the p74, it’s been changed, obviously. as for chipping, i brought mine to en electritian who works with computers, tvs, etc. cost $50 for installation, and i’m happy with it.

Thanks for the help guys
