I am now currently rebuling the short block of my engine, and i was wonderin what anyone thinks of CP Pistons, my engine is not Vtec, and at this time not boosted, so i am lookin for a higher compression. Is higher compression the way to go wit a rebulit b18a engine, (11:6:1) compression. if anyone can get me a good compression ratio for an all motor b18a engine, and the company details.

use usdm b16 pistons and some 404 cams and tune and ull be stylin…
CP pistons, based on what I gather when I was piston shopping is 1 of the best piston to get. They however cost me $475, if higher compression is what you are looking for and plan on retaining a stock bore then ITR b16 or even CTR pistons are the way to go. The CTR piston will yield the highest compression, but will require a little machining to fit them on LS rods. B16a would be my choice for direct fit and good compression and you can get them at a reasonable price if you shop around. Good luck
