I cant sell you a basemap that I can gaurantee will be perfectly tuned for 8 psi unless I have your car in person. I can probably come up with something close…but every setup should be tuned by someone with a wideband for optimal performance and reliability.

Im thinking I am going to clip shut the tube leading to the reservoir, and see what happens. Higher PSI rad cap did nothing.
Poverty DONT DO THAT!!!, youll blow a hole in the weakest part of your cooling system, whether it be a hose, gasket, or your rad. that tube is a releif of the pressure from the coolant heating and expanding.
haha, I realized that when I got to the car…I was like… so where’s the pressure going now??
Going to have to find a diff solution.
Perhaps that $60 (quick find) radiator was worth every penny
I may have a lead on some reasonably priced all aluminum radiators here in a couple days, I’ll post pics when I get my order in. 2" thick and flow 200% more than stock.

Maybe if it decides to overheat. For now, Im fine with dumping the contents of the reservoir into the rad every week.
i paid 100 for my rad chris from rad. express… as for the miles on the motor you’ll have to ask chris that b/c he never told me…i blew a rod on the org. motor @ 159,XXX my best guess is this motor is close to 100K…
i dynoed sunday 225whp 211tr @ 10 pounds…also blew a nice spilt in a hose coming from the heater core (over 40 miles of 4th gear pulls)…i’m not sure if that has something to do with the cooling problem
I was saying that to Yuriy as we found his (same model as yours) for $60 from a friend on Yuriy’s install day.
I have some nice all aluminum race radiators coming in within the next few days, they are supposed to cool 200% over stock and they are pretty darn affordable. I’ll let you know when I get one in and get a chance to try it on this customer car.
As far as the miles on your motor, it came from a yard…and they dont keep those kind of records. It was from an Auto though, which means it wasnt revved as high or possibly beat on as much as your typical stick shift…but yes the mileage could be up there.
now i’m blowing hoses…yesterday i had another hose split while driving (normal @ that)…WTF is going on
