Hey all ,
I just put in tokico illumina struts and eibach sportline springs. Since then i hear creaking in the rear. can’t tell where but there is creaking… Now it could be the hatch i havn’t done that electrical tape thing yet but i will later today but any other ideas?
the most likely problem is that the body is settling. this happens quite often with a unibody. also, how are your mounts?? are they old and cracked?? my rear always creaks after i have hads the front-end jacked up (oil change, tires, etc…) how long has it been creaking?? if you put the suspension together just recently, give it time. the body needs to settle. sounds kinda funny, but true. if that doesn’t work, something may be out of alignment.
