With my crower 62404’s, my car idles better with the timing really advanced. Any ideas on what benefit, bad side affects, or concerns this might raise? I am wondering if I should just advance the timing to keep it happy or leave it just above stock and watch the idle.
i dont think it’ll hurt to advance your timing… just make sure you arent pinging… thats what you have to worry about.

Yup. Just make sure you’re using the best possible fuel available and make sure you’re not pinging… Very important!
hey teg92… what tranny are you using?
i personally dont think its worth the small increase in power from playing with your timing when the possibilities of permanent damage is possible
